MAHS strives to make Manchester area history interesting, useful and meaningful to the citizens of today. Please join us for one of our regular monthly meetings, held September through June, the second Thursday of the month, 7:30p, at the Village Room, Manchester Village Hall.

Our meetings are informal and include presentations on a wide variety of interesting topics representing a mix of local, state and national themes. Everyone is welcome, and attending a meeting is an excellent way to get started on your own journey into history!

Making Custom Pool Cues and Life In Manchester

Cookie exchange and Carol sing

December is our annual Cookie Exchange and Carol Sing meeting. Public is invited to join us for singing and eating cookies. Bring enough cookies to pass and trade. Remaining cookies are available to take home for a free-will donation and all money collected is given to Manchester Family Services. This meeting will be at the Sharon United Methodist Church fellowship hall, located at the corner of M-52 and Pleasant Lake Rd.

NOVEMBER 11 meeting. This month is our annual "SHOW AND TELL" program. Members and the public are invited to bring in items to show and/or discuss. They can be your old favorite or newly aquired antiques or collectables. Anything you want to share information on is fine. Some surprising items have been shown in past meetings. Refreshments following the meeting.

MAY MEETING "History of Ham Radio and Amateur Emergency Communications"

Chelsea Amateur Radio Club will present the program. Jeff Cowall will be the primary presenter and Karl Racenis will assist. Public is always invited and there is no charge. Light refreshments to follow. Manchester Village Hall, Lower Level, Use back parking lot.

APRIL MEETING "Memories of Two Young Children during WWII in England"

MARCH MEETING "Early Maps of Manchester Village - What Do They Tell Us?"

February Meeting--INVASION OF NORMANDY 2009 Anniversary

January meeting-Victory Baptist Church history
